Flavoured Condiment with White Truffle, based on Extra Virgin Olive Oil, 250 ml
Made in Italy · Fast delivery in Romania and the EU · Secure payment
A few drops over the finished dish and up rises the bright, savoury scent we associate with white truffle.
What it is: a flavoured condiment based on extra virgin olive oil (96%). Its truffle character comes mainly from flavouring (3%), together with a 0.05% infusion of white truffle (Tuber magnatum Pico). We deliberately do not call it "truffle oil": you should know exactly what is in the bottle.
Origin: Made by a family producer in Spello, Umbria.
- Aroma: intense, reminiscent of white truffle, lightly garlicky
- Taste: fruity olive oil with a savoury finish
- Texture: clear and fluid
At a glance: net volume 250 ml · extra virgin olive oil 96% · flavouring 3% · white truffle infusion (Tuber magnatum Pico) 0.05% · made in Spello, Umbria.
An everyday finishing touch that goes a long way when used sparingly.
How to use
Use only as a finishing condiment, not for frying or cooking: add a few drops (about ½ teaspoon per serving) just before serving, on warm or cold food. Less is more.
- Pasta with butter and Parmigiano Reggiano
- Pizza bianca or focaccia fresh from the oven
- Rocket salad, carpaccio or creamy potato soup
Wine suggestion: an Orvieto Classico or a Roero Arneis.
